Let’s Talk Music – My Meditation Inspiration.

“When I hear music, I fear no danger. I am invulnerable. I see no foe. I am related to the earliest times, an to the latest.” – Henry David Thoreau

Music. Beautiful Music. It has gotten me through the highs and lows of life and is a constant I would not want to live without. Music also plays a major role in my writing process when composing meditations for class.

When I start writing a meditation, especially a guided meditation, I like to find a theme and song to help anchor my thoughts and better lay out where I am going. And while there are endless ways to meditate, I love writing and listening to guided meditations. My guided meditations usually end up being how I heal myself from old and new wounds alike. I write the meditation I need to hear. That is probably why the music I choose feels so powerful to me. The words I write and the music I hear is helping me grow stronger wings, live more present, see more clearly and breathe deeply, fully. And when we heal ourselves, we can better heal others.

And with that, I present to you my Meditation Inspo playlist. Enjoy the ride and happy listening!
